Avia S-92 Turbina
Avia S-92 Turbina
The Avia S-92 Turbina is a slightly upgraded version of the Messerschmitt Me-262 produced after the war in Czechoslovakia.

Just 12 were built, 9 as S-92 single-seat fighters and 3 as CS-92 two-seat trainers.

S-92/1
  • 8/27/1946: First flight.
  • 8/31/1946: Crashed.

S-92/2
  • 10/24/1946: First flight.
  • 1950: 5th Fighter Squadron, at Prague-Kbely AB as “V-33” and “KR-33”.
  • 2/2/1951: Struck off charge, used as a ground trainer, and later scrapped.

CS-92/3
  • 12/10/1946: First flight.
  • 1950: 5th Fighter Squadron, at Prague-Kbely AB as “V-31“.
  • 1950: Struck off charge, used as a ground trainer, and later scrapped.

S-92/4
  • 1948: First flight.
  • 1950: 5th Fighter Squadron, at Prague-Kbely AB as “V-34“.
  • Struck off charge, used as a ground trainer.
  • Currently preserved at the Kbely Airbase Museum in Prague.

CS-92/5
  • 7/4/1948: First flight.
  • 1950: 5th Fighter Squadron, at Prague-Kbely AB as “V-35” and “KR-35”.
  • 2/13/1951: Struck off charge, used as a ground trainer.
  • Currently preserved at the Kbely Airbase Museum in Prague.

S-92/6
  • 9/24/1948: First flight.
  • 1950: 5th Fighter Squadron, at Prague-Kbely AB as “V-36” and “KR-36”.
  • 6/16/1950: Struck off charge, used as a ground trainer, and later scrapped.

CS-92/7
  • 6/17/1948: First flight.
  • 1950: 5th Fighter Squadron, at Prague-Kbely AB as “V-37“.
  • 1951: Struck off charge, used as a ground trainer, and later scrapped.

S-92/8
  • 7/20/1948: First flight.
  • 1950: 5th Fighter Squadron, at Prague-Kbely AB as “V-39“.
  • 1951: Struck off charge, used as a ground trainer, and later scrapped.

S-92/9
